For the past 30 years I’ve been a farrier in the Ark-Okla. area. During that same time my wife, Evonne and I showed Quarter Horses for more than 20 years, qualifying for the AQHA World Show four times.

I’ve always been interested in photography and for the past 5 years have pursued it actively taking courses in Fort Smith, as well as from the New York Institute of Photography from which I have recently graduated. 

Having shown horses, been closely associated with them and their owners I decided to photograph them together at work in the arena. These pictures are now available to you through this web site. I hope you enjoy seeing you and your friends in action in the arena.
